The pre Flex Day workshop is on operationalising the integration of flexible resources. Held between 1300-1700 on Tuesday 13 October to map out an initial whole-of-system view of the communications and connectivity requirements to integrate and use flexible resources across the system and market.
The session is prompted by questions being asked for the EECA scaled flexibility pilot project and taking heed of experience gained in Australia about getting on top of the comms and connectivity questions early.

You will step through the maturity, gaps and impacts of five functional requirements for: hardware function; communications; registration; data exchange; and service enablement. The agenda borrows extensively from the hard work of the Smart Connect Initiative.
