DEIP brings governments, regulators, market bodies, industry, and consumer advocates together to maximise the value of decentralised energy for Australia.
Ed is DEIP program lead. He is a recognised senior leader in the Australian energy sector with broad experience in public, private and non-for-profit organisations at board and executive level. He has led several successful reform programs and developed industry strategies that support the decarbonisation of Australia’s energy sector.
He is currently the Managing Director of CEMA Advisory, a specialist consultancy that provides energy policy and regulation advice to Australian governments, public and private energy businesses, industry associations and consumer advocacy groups. His team also supports organisations and businesses to develop energy and decarbonisation strategies as part of their sustainability plans. In addition, Ed is also an independent director on the board of National Energy PKI, and Chairs SA Power Network's Innovation Advisory Group.
